Southdown was established in May 2004 to offer girls the chance of playing competitive netball in the local Junior leagues and also to receive regular coaching.

Back in 2004 we started with just 2 High Five teams, Devil Tigers and Lilac Angels - quickly joining them came Blue Belles.

Our aim was to keep the girls playing netball whatever their ability in a fun and friendly environment. Four and a half years later we have 9 squads of up to 12 players and we are going from strength to strength.

Our Junior players play in the Sussex Netball League or the East Grinstead Junior Netball League, both currently on Saturday mornings. Our Senior Squads play on a Monday evening in East Grinstead.

Training night is Tuesday - we are very lucky to be able to call the new courts at the G4S Centre our "home".
