The much awaited Sussex Junior Netball League end of season tournament took place yesterday at The G4S Netball Centre with Southdown entering teams in the U12 and U14 age groups.
Due to the number of teams entering the organisers decided to make 2 leagues combining age group. The U11 and U12 age groups made up 1 League, whilst the U13 and U14 made the second League, both Leagues played on a round robin format.
The U12's had a mixed day succeeding in some matches but losing out to others ending the day in mid-table.
Southdown Stingray, however had a far more successful day winning all of their matches and in the process scoring 55 goals and only conceeding 9, therefore making them the overall U14 age group winners.
