Mixed Fortunes in First Half of Season

Southdown Netball Club teams have had mixed fortunes during the first half of the season in their respective leagues.
Southdown Jaguars, playing in the East Grinstead Netball League Division 3 have had a successful start to the season. Currently lying 2nd in the league, winning 7 matches and only losing 1 which was against the league leaders by 3 goals in a very tight competetive match.
Southdown Lynx are also progressing well, currently lying 3rd in Division 2, winning 6, losing 1 and drawing 1.
Southdown Stingray finished 4th in the U14 section of the Sussex Junior Netball League. A narrow defeat in their final game deprived them of 3rd spot.
Southdown Magpies had a dissapointing start to the season not being helped by losing a number of players early on. Magpies are looking for players to bolster their squad, so please encourage friends, cousins, sisters and schoolmates to give netball a try.
Southdown Hawks, playing their first season in the Sussex junior Netball League finished a creditable 4th in the U12 section. A few more games under their belt will only see them improve.
Southdown Eagles were unbeaten in the East Grinstead Junior Netball League earning them top spot in the table.
Southdown Penguins playing for the first time together this year finished 4th in the East Grinstead Junior Netball League.
