Hawks take the jewels

Southdown Hawks put in a stunning performance on Saturday by completely out playing CD Phoenix Sapphire and winning the match by a margin of 36 - 5.
The girls played really well, finding good space and passing well. The shooters were in good form scoring some great goals. The girls tired a little in the final 1/4 and tired arms resulted in a few weak passes.
Stand in coach, Trish Bentham took advantage of playing around with some of the players positions without compromising the score line. She took each of the stronger players off for a 1/4 leaving the other girls with a full match, which was a good experience for them.
