Ashurst Wood Sports Fun Day

Representatives from Southdown attended the Ashurst Wood Sports Fun Day on Thursday to offer an introduction to Netball for youngsters beween the ages of 5 and 15. The coaches and players demonstrated basis passing and movement drills together with some shooting practise. The session was ended with mini attack and defence games. This was the first year that the event has been held and there was a good response from children of all ages. Photographs of the day will be added once received from Ashurst Wood Parish Council.
